SEPTEMBER 3, 2016 marked a historical occasion for thirty-two women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The leadership and support of Dr. Mary Breaux Wright, International President, Michelle Porter Norman, Great Lakes Regional Director, and Keisha D. Smith, Kentucky State Director, ensured the vision to continue the growth and development of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was advanced through the chartering of a 4th chapter for the Kentucky State Association in the last 4 years.
Thirty-two dynamic leaders propelled an exciting energy of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood in the name of Beta Alpha Xi Zeta Chapter in Louisville, Kentucky. The charter members had a common goal to collaborate, continue to excel Zeta’s principles, and utilize their expertise and skill sets for scholarship and to serve various communities.
As the first chartered chapter of the 2016 – 2017 Sorority Fiscal Year, the Beta Alpha Xi Zeta Chapter Charter members elected Dr. Shervita West as the first chapter president.
