Scholarship

Scholarship is one of the founding principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  Building upon the principle of Scholarship as set forth by our trailblazing Founders, members of the Beta Alpha Xi Zeta Chapter established the Royal Blue Scholars Foundation, Incorporated (RBS).

RBS, the scholarship extension of Beta Alpha Xi Zeta, is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, independently operating from the Sorority. The primary functions of the Foundation are to facilitate fundraising, educational and charitable endeavors in conjunction with the local Chapter.  Additionally, RBS provides valuable financial support for academic scholarships, community service programs and activities that benefit the lives of all citizens in our community.  More specifically, our sponsored initiatives focus on the impact we can make in the lives of our elementary, middle, and high school students as well as the senior citizens in the community.

A few of these initiatives include but are not limited to:  Zeta’s Adopt-a-School program, literacy programs, community youth leadership development programs, life skills workshops and a plethora of educational forums such as environmental awareness, economics, social action, health, and global poverty.  All RBS initiatives are supported, endorsed, and participated in by the members of the Beta Alpha Xi Zeta Chapter.
